Waking up to Coffee

I love being home of my childhood because it still is in many ways "home".  All my belongings may be gone, but it is still very much has the comforts of home.

(haha okay that's a lie I still have a bedroom closet full of my stuff)

But do you want to know what one of my favorite little things is about being home?

There is always a fresh hot pot of coffee waiting for me when I get up.

I am convinced that coffee is much better when you didn't even have to think about making it.

Thanks Dad.

Or Mom...(whoever happened to make it on this fine morning)

A wedding coming soon...

My little sister is getting married in less than a week.

On Saturday to be exact, and I couldn't be more excited/happy/thrilled for her and the hubby to be.

And by the time the weekend rolls around all the snow will be gone.

I am heading home this morning to help with all the last minute details, so I will try to keep you updated on everything even though I'm not making any promises. Because, usually when I promise to blog- I don't. Simple as that.

Okay I need to finish getting packed up because I am sure I will forget something important if I don't.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend so far.

(Beth and I)
Today I love the..
Smell of: wet earth as everything melts.
Sound of: Adele's Make You Feel My Love
Taste of: reheated coffee from yesterday
Sight of: a snow-free patio
Feel of:  my slippers on my feet.

Honeymoon Part II

Here is part II as promised. We had such an amazing time on our Honeymoon, and it was definitely nice to relax after a busy summer of wedding plans. The trip was a wedding gift from my parents, and we definitely felt blessed to have the chance to relax in such a beautiful place.

Looking back at these pictures makes me realize how much I love summer and all that it brings. This is fresh in my mind at the moment because it may snow here this weekend. I am in denial, and will believe it when I see the white stuff falling out of the sky. If I choose not to look out my window that day it won't happen either then, right?
