Photos Photos!

My sister-in-law Jen put up some more wedding photos on her blog if you want to go check them out. I hardly have any photos of the actual wedding day since my camera was being used for the photo booth. Luckily I have a talented relative who takes beautiful photos so I can share with you. Check out her blog below to see the rest.

Oh the weekend!

Random Thoughts Before Heading to Bed:

Our grill is out on our patio, and has been used a total of three times in two days.

My plants are still being harbored indoors since it still drops too low at night.

There is a whisper of snow occurring on Sunday, but I doubt it will happen. If it does snow, it won't stay on the ground long.

Yesterday Ben and spent a few hours at a local park. It was wonderful to feel the sunshine on my face. The park was teeming with activity. A high school tennis meet, frisbee golfing, mothers pushing strollers...
We had planned on going rollerblading but I must have left my rollerblades back at my parents' house because they were nowhere to be found in our apartment or garage. We decided a walk would serve our purpose of being outside just as well.

Then we grilled some asparagus and steak and had a lovely dinner with Ellie. Lastly, we decided we should probably end our perfect spring day with a trip to the local Dairy Queen. Last time we went was on opening day, so it was nice to not be shivering while waiting to order our treats.

Well I'm off to bed... it is almost 2am. oops.

We were able to decorate at the reception venue the day before the wedding, so my sister gathered up friends and family to help. I was kind of in and out the whole day because I went on an errand to get some more candles. It was a fun and busy day, that was made all the better with the numerous helping hands. My sister worked hard on all the details as you will see below.

Okay I'm off to the fifth grade. Have a lovely Thursday!

My return to normal life.

WARNING: This is going to be a jumble of a post.

Remember when I used to blog?

Sometimes even multiple times a week... crazy huh?

What a week. It was a fabulous week, but also a busy one. I must admit I'm ready for my life to get back into the normal swing of things. I haven't worked in over a week (which has been a nice vacation).

I have spend the last few hours reorganizing my life/apartment while listening to some Adele. A few cups of coffee may also have been involved. Our apartment was a mess, and we brought back quite a bit of laundry to do from our week away. It felt good to get everything back in order and relax a little on my own cozy couch. Too bad the husband had to hurry off to work.

I am currently sipping some tea and thinking of starting a new book before bed.

My evening in pics...

boiling water in my teapot

reading a letter from a dear friend

sipping on my lemon tea

curled up on my couch

I refrained from taking a picture of my laundry...not that exciting.

Sweet Dreams.

P.S. I will be back soon...catching up on life and laundry.
